Hi Kate! Your lesson is very detailed and organized – I really like how you included many examples and resources within each section! I thought that your decision to give students choice in what and how they represent their learning (e.g video, art pieces, story, photographs) was really great. I’m wondering how you might connect this lesson with language arts?

  2. Hi Kate,
I like that your lesson is about something special to students, this is a great way for students to learn about each other and it is nice to see them light up when talking about things that they love. I haven’t seen (or created) many lesson plans for kindergarten so this has really helped me learn what a lesson and classroom management can look like for this grade. How would you make the take-home activity accessible to ELL student’s families?
    Thanks for sharing!
