I often use TikTok as a way to gather fun and clever new resources for future teaching experiences. There are many educators that share ideas for classroom management, organization, teaching hacks, and various new ways to introduce content to students. TikTok can be a great professional tool as it allows professionals to share and exchange experience, ideas, and resources. As an educator, it is also a great tool to use with students as it can give them a new way to demonstrate understanding and share creativity.

How can I find people on Tiktok to become part of my PLN?

To find specific topics of interest on TikTok users can search hashtags and keywords. Within these searches, you can find the creators of your favorite videos and follow them in order to see more content in the future. For professionals, you can follow specific users, that share your passion and interests, much like Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Users and creators can chat to each other in the comments or through direct messaging. Further, Users can participate in live video chats in which questions can be answered in real time. TikTok is a versatile tool which allows for creativity, communication, networking, and professional development.
